I am particularly interested in experimental approaches to classic and ancient texts and the uses of meta-theatricality in live performance. I combine a love of play and with intellectual curiosity and the ability to research deeply.

With over ten years experience working with young people and students at secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate level, including writers and theatre-makers in training, I can design and deliver playful and practical sessions on writing for stage, dramaturgy, adaptation and theatre history.

My workshops combine theory and practice, group work and individual exploration and offer a balance of experimentation, collaboration and reflection.
